Chamber Music Columbus has established an endowment fund. Our long-term goal is for this fund to provide a regular source of income to support our mission. At the present time, our focus is on building principal in the fund. Please consider including us in your will or making other planned gift arrangements. Those who make a commitment to this fund become members of The James N. Cain Society, named for the founder of our organization. Note that this is a non-binding agreement. You can send an email to legacy@CMColumbus.org to request more information. Thank you!
Please consider joining the society if you share our passion for fine music.

The Battelle Steinway, CMColumbus' outstanding 9' concert grand piano, is available to rent for suitable use at concerts, recitals, etc. About this piano, Barbara Zuck, Senior Critic for the Columbus Dispatch wrote in a review in March, 2002:
|
"Playing the rededication performance of a Steinway concert grand that has been silent for far too long, Kuerti demonstrated an almost infinite array of colors and timbres; in his hands the recently refurbished piano proved worthy of its new name, the Battelle Steinway. ... Moreover, if there had been any worries about the Battelle Steinway's ability to speak with authority at top volume, the performance of the Schumann Fantasy erased every concern. Kuerti released the instrument's majestic capabilities, leaving no doubt that the piano will serve its new owner, the Columbus Chamber Music Society, ably for many years to come." If you are interested in renting this piano, or simply learning more about it, just send a message to: mailto:steinway@CMColumbus.org or phone 614-267-2267. |
